The evaluation of users\u2019 outcomes will serve as a catalyst for policy and regulation development. Each RCC is required to produce climate information (outputs of the action) through a co-production mechanism, ensuring the outputs are tailored to the specific needs of particular sectors.<\/p><p>This side event aims at showcasing ClimSA&#8217;s contribution to the process of demonstrating socio-economic benefits (SEB) of climate information services (CIS). The ClimSA Programme had developed a SEB tool, which assesses the economic and social benefits of climate information services in comparison to the costs of investments. The framework essentially built on a business case for ongoing investment in CIS, by showing the impacts of integrating climate information into the policy and resource allocation process.
